Katie, Emily, Wallace and Gromit: Emily's Best Friend is the 23rd episode in the series. Katie and Emily become best friends after reading a book in social studies. She even convinces Sonic and Amy to bond well with their parents. But in the end, Katie realizes that it would take some time to be more intimate with her mom. Meanwhile, Wallace and Gromit find a chimp which creates havoc in the house, for which they both are blamed.

PlotEdit

Mr. Digg assigns Katie Sandow a report on a book about friend-friend relationship. Lizzie loves the book and decides that she and her god friend Emily should become closer friends. Emily goes along with it and Sonic The Hedgehog and Amy Rose are surprised when Katie brings her God friend to the Digital Bean to "hang out!" god child and God friend are enjoying their new relationship until Emily confides in Katie about some problems she was unaware of: Victor Quartermaine and Vicky are having marital troubles and her teacher was once in some tax trouble (he was mistaken for Bill Gates and supposedly owed the government $618 million!) All of a sudden Katie knows more than she wants to.

Sonic and Amy decide to follow Katie's example and get closer to their parents. Katie starts to avoid her god friend a little bit, but Emily tracks her down and tells her that Victor and Vicky worked out their problems. Katie admits that she was freaked out by some of the things Emily told her. Emily apologizes and they both decide that maybe they should wait a few years before being so intimate with each other. Sonic and Amy agree: it's nice being close to their parents, but they both have their own worlds to live in.

Elsewhere, Wallace and Gromit are looking for something new to do when--surprise!--a chimpanzee jumps in through the window! The animal messes up the house and quickly departs, leaving Wallace and Gromit to take the blame for the mess. When it happens again, the boys realize they must catch this "evil" chimp, and they set a trap--using Wallace's old friend "Mr. Carrigg" for bait! Write a Recap »
